Become a Patient

Donnie and patient

Guided by founder Donnie Yance's expertise and 40+ years of clinical experience, our practitioners utilize botanical and nutritional medicine independently and in concert with allopathic medicine, and have had outstanding results in thousands of cases. Our health-promoting modalities support the body’s innate capacity to heal on multiple levels.

Our practitioners prescribe personalized, individually tailored treatment plans using a holistic, integrative approach called Mederi Care. These in-depth treatment plans are designed to address the specific needs of each patient with targeted therapeutic strategies.

We welcome new patients to schedule in-person and telemedicine appointments with Dr. Jason Miller or telemedicine appointments with Dr. Susan Saccomanno.

Start Your Journey

Your Initial Consultation

Donnie Yance talking with Dr. Saccomanno

Once you have submitted all the needed records and your initial consultation is scheduled, your practitioner will spend up to an hour and a half reviewing your past records, labs, and intake form, and researching the specifics of your diagnosis. We review CT scans, PET scans, MRIs, bone scans, liver scans, brain scans, and others. Many of these tests are included in standard cancer care.

During your initial consultation, your practitioner will conduct a comprehensive review of your current and past health status in order to gain a deep understanding of your entire health picture. This in-depth dialogue will include a thorough assessment of your physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual well-being, taking into account factors such as nutritional needs, stress, weight, emotional state, activity level, along with discussing your labs, imaging, and other diagnostics.

Your Initial Consultation requires a $100 non-refundable deposit due at time of scheduling your appointment. Your deposit secures the appointment with your practitioner, and will be applied toward your consultation. Click here to view more information about rates and costs.

Follow-Up Consultations

Directly after the initial consultation, your practitioner will dedicate significant time to researching your specific health concerns and developing a comprehensive treatment plan, which will be uploaded to your secure patient portal. Protocol development may also be discussed during your consultation. Additional blood tests may be requested by your practitioner.

Next, the Client Liaison who works directly with your practitioner will call you to provide additional support. This includes guidance around downloading your protocol from your patient portal, understanding how our billing process works, how to place orders for custom formulations and supplements, and scheduling your next follow-up consultation. Your Client Liaison will support and guide you through all aspects of your care with Mederi Center and your practitioner. Most often, they will be your direct point of contact if you have questions or need clarification.

Follow-up consultations will be recommended by your practitioner according to your continued progress while on your protocol.

"Thank you for all you do for me – for your dedication to helping people, for your depth of research, and for sharing your vast knowledge. I feel I would not still be alive today, albeit still trying to outsmart cancer, if not for you. Yes, I’ve struggled with cancer, but I’ve had quality of life for almost three years now. When it’s my time to go, I leave feeling loved, really loved. And most times content and peaceful. I feel mostly HEALED, even if there is no cure. Thank you for all you give me, the care and love… that makes my living a joyful experience."  ~ Leslye L., Mederi Center patient
